A social and networking community group for Australian LGBTQIA+ Veterinary Professionals and their allies!

Formed in 2017, ARVA is Australia’s only organisation providing a voice for LGBTIQA+ people in the veterinary industry.

SUPPORT

ARVA provides exclusive access, mentoring and collaboration with LGBTQIA+ folk in the veterinary industry.

Our Facebook groups are moderated so that LGBTQIA+ people and their allies can communicate and better understand one another.

ADVOCACY

ARVA advocates for the safety & recognition of LGBTQIA+ people.

ARVA were the first Australian organisation to sign onto the Gender Identity Bill Of Rights (GIBOR) in the veterinary workplace.

We survey LGBTQIA+
demographics and offer insights to the challenges faced by Rainbow vets in the veterinary profession in Australia.

EDUCATION

ARVA are fully committed to reaching out through education. From the Veterinary Kaleidoscope Summit, student talks, panels, webinars, to a fully structured education program, organisations and companies are welcome to enquire about our bespoke education services.

EVENTS

Mardi Gras Parade

Fair Day

Student BBQs

Social dinners and get
togethers.
